*Penni paused. They had to be coming, but she didn't want to give away too much.* Maybe... My parents might have thought it would be too dangerous. *She needed to change the subject.* So what about you? Do you have any friends or family?

*Selia squinted at Penni, her pink eyes becoming only slits.* Zo, your friendz would not face danger to come and zave you? *All of those beasts in Fallsilver Forest are cowards. Selia crossed her arms as she answered Penni.* Yez, I have met zeveral zkilled fighterz in my travelz, whom I ezteem. They are not veak. My parentz I hardly knew. It vas not a loss to be independent so early.

*That might be why Selia was so mean! Whether she realized it or not, it was because she never knew her parents and didn't seem to have any close friends. Penni started to feel a little sorry for the ferret, but then remembered that this ferret still wanted to kill her and her friends... but anyone who's mean to others does it because they're also hurting inside... right? Penni shifted but then gasped as the spiked chains on her dug into her neck, and her wounds from the day before still hurt badly.*

*Buckeye suddenly burst through the dungeon's entrance, out of breath with wide eyes. After taking a few gulps of air, he bowed before Selia, and panting said,* Grism 'n me caught some trespassers at the far west end of our lord Steluil's forest, Grism is watchin' em and sent me to come and request your presence there!
*Selia recognized this guard, he was young but always eager. He as one of the border guards along with one of her most trusted soldiers: Grism. He was old, and full of wisdom, and would not request her presence without good reason. Penni would just have to wait while this was taken care of. So, Selia shot a final glare at Penni before nodding at Buckeye.* Yez, I vill go. Come vith me, vhile I gather my thingz.

*Trespassers? Could it be her friends? Penni didn't want to get her hopes up, but couldn't deny the flutter in her stomach. Selia left and Penni was glad to be alone again, with time to think about the thousands of questions running through her head...*

*Moving with percision, Selia quickly walked to another room and grabbed only two items: her traveling cloak and favorite sabre, it would be a good idea to travel light for the sake of time. She navigated through the castle in record timing, all the while staying cool, calm and collected. Effeciently she called for her captains and shouted orders at them in a clipped fashion. She didn't expect to be gone long, but it was surprising how fast things could fall apart without her guidance.*
*Buckeye struggled to keep up with Selia as she gathered her few belongings. After sprinting to the castle, he was already completely exhausted, but he was well enough acquainted with Selia to know that any sign of weakness, and she would have no problem hurting him. So, he stumbled along as she shouted her orders and made her way toward the castle door...* *****Moving to Rescue Mission******

You can't just let her torture some innocent girl down there! Yes I can! I have to! She's my mistress, and unless I want that girl down there to be me, I can't interfere. You have to. Shut up! *Airrowathia's common sense battled against her kind heart. Ever since Selia had brought that poor Princess girl to the castle, Arrow had heard nothing but screams and whimpers. Or if it wasn't, it was silence. That was even more terrifying.* "Just go check on her" *her heart said.* Selia will- Selia is distracted! It's now or never. "Fine, I will if you'll just shut up." *Arrow slipped silently down the hall toward the dungeon door. She grabbed the rusty iron key off her belt that she used to get in to clean the dungeon after Silvie... "finished" with one of her victims. She slipped slowly down the steps, then shut the door behind her, checking to make sure no one had seen her. Looking down, she saw the weakened, bruised and bloody body of the young Princess. Immediately she was seized by compassion. Taking the small leather pouch of water she always carried under her tunic, she poured a small bit onto a strip of cloth she tore from her shirt. The clothes here were all too big for her already. No one would notice. She began to slowly pat down and wash some of the Princess's wounds and try to stem the blood still flowing from them. Still as nervous as ever, and more so every second she spent down in the "Pit of Death," as she called it. She began to get up and move toward the door.*
