*Going back to the black box, Selia grabs five more and also puts them into Penni's back.* Now, dis is something that I got from a torture genius, really. You see, dese are so vonderful to use because dey cause minimal damage with maximum pain. *Selia says calmly as she walks over to Steluil's desk and grabs on of his lit candles.*

*Selia briskly strides back over to Penni and sets each little spike on fire, methodically, one at a time. Then stepping back she observed how each flame would burn brightly, then right before it reached her fur, it would go out.* Perfectly ingenious, is it not?

Yea, perfectly painful. *She says, squirming in her chains and making a little noise.*

Yes, I suppose, but not perfect enough.... *Since you're not in writhing pain... Selia added in a pouting way. She was growing bored of this. Then another thought popped into her head. * Hmm.. perhaps I could use you in a more useful way...

*Penni was getting awfully hot from the fire on her back. She cried out as the fire on one of the spikes reached her and then went out, causing a lot more heat and pain.*

Yes, yes, how vould you like to be my slave as well? *Selia smiled her beautiful, cruel grin at the thought.* Vonderful idea, is it not? *She said, with a forced laugh. Ignoring Penni's cries.*

*Oh, no. Not her slave. I don't know if I'll even be able to walk after this she thinks, then she cries out again because another one of the spikes burns out*

*Selia was so wrapped up in her own twisted thoughts, she did not here the crys of pain which she craved. A slow smile grew on her face as she went over and closed the lid to the black box, and latching it tightly shut. As she headed for the big wooden doors she called back to Penni.* Well, have fun hanging there for a little bit! After I come back, I'll take the spikes out and perhaps get you situated in your new job! *Opening the door she walks out and shuts the door behind her. As she walks down the dark hallway with high ceilings, and torches all the way down, she thinks how wonderful life is. Then, she came to it, the door she was looking for. She reached for the iron nob on the smaller, pine door.*

Ah, she is ingenious, isn't she? *Steluil said, looking up from his "top secret" notes.* That's why I hired her.
*Penni didn't say anything. All the spikes had finally burned out, but pain still coursed through her body from the poisoned whip.*
